Request for Qualifications

Request for Qualifications (Engineer)---Borough of Ringwood is looking for qualified professional service provider capable of (1) designing a plan to investigate subsurface voids or low density spaces that could cause dangerous surface subsidences in a residential neighborhood that overlies abandoned iron mines; (2) assist in the search for, and evaluation of, underground testing methods as well as firms to conduct such testing to determine the existence of any potentially hazardous subsurface conditions; (3) interpret or assist in the interpretation and presentation of the testing results; (4) evaluate and design, or assist in the evaluation and design of, remediation plans consistent with test findings; (5) assist in the selection of firm(s) to undertake any selected remediation plan and oversee the implementation of that plan; and (6) assist in any and all contracting that may be necessary to accomplish the foregoing.
