The following is a list of Public Foot Trails that lie whole or in part within the boundaries of Ringwood:

A total of twenty-two trail sections that are maintained by volunteers of the NYNJTC, with the exception of *Weis Ecology Center/NJAS.

Also within the Borough are portions of the following trails that have been closed for use by the public by Saddle Mountain Ltd. aka: Braen Stone Industries, aka: Van Orden Sand and Gravel.

The majority of these foot trails have been in use from the beginning of the twentieth century, and many of them were in use before that as footpaths traversed by Native Americans that lived in the this area. Additional information can be obtained by going to www.NYNJTC.org.
