The Recreation Department is located in Borough Hall, 1st Floor.  Offices hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.

Ringwood Recreation is an accredited agency with the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) as well as the New Jersey Recreation and Parks Association (NJRPA). We are a full-time recreation department. Flyers are available at the Recreation Office and are sent to all public and parochial schools as well as nursery schools and day care centers in Ringwood. The information can also be viewed online. Residents may attend in-person registration or register online directly at http://register.communitypass.net.

Ringwood Recreation offers a wide variety of instructional programs for all ages as well as themed special events. We offer youth sports programs such as baseball, boys and girls basketball, football, football & basketball cheerleading, dance team, ice hockey, co-ed volleyball, co-ed track & field, indoor soccer, lacrosse, soccer, girls softball and wrestling and more.

In addition, we offer adult sport programs including co-ed volleyball, women’s volleyball, women’s softball, men’s basketball, men’s summer & fall slowpitch softball, men’s fastpitch softball and co-ed soccer.

We offer Summer Camp programs including boy’s baseball, football, cheerleading, co-ed basketball, co-ed running dynamics & speed development, co-ed tennis, co-ed volleyball, co-ed soccer and multi-sport.

Our skate park, located at the C. William Hofmann Recreation Complex next to Borough Hall is open to skateboard enthusiasts of all ages.

For Seniors, we offer bocci as well as bus trips to Atlantic City, PNC Arts Center performances, Westchester Broadway theater performances, day trips as well as extended stay trips. The Ringwood Seniors meet the first and third Thursday of each month from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm at the Skyline Lake Fire House located on Edgewood Road.
