Reducing our Carbon Footprint

Global warming is the environmental crisis of this century and each of us has to do everything possible to slow down and reverse its course. Each of the initiatives described above relates in some way to reducing our carbon footprint, the key to addressing global warming, and making our community more sustainable. The Environmental Commission is seeking partners, including individuals, organizations and businesses, to work with on projects that aim to reduce our town-wide carbon footprint. The EC will soon launch a town-wide carbon reducing challenge game with sponsors and prizes going to the Coolest Ringwood Family. Stay tuned.
