All dogs and cats 6 months or older must be licensed every year in Ringwood.
To register a pet in Ringwood:
- You must send proof of rabies vaccination for a license to be issued to your pet. As per N.J. State Mandate, the vaccination must not expire prior to November 1 of the licensing year. Please send a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate, as originals cannot be returned.
- If your dog qualifies for a reduced license fee, please enclose a copy of the neutered/spayed certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian.
- Return completed registration form (download from above) with check or money order, made payable to the "Borough of Ringwood".
