Ringwood Borough is a suburban community located within the foothills of the New Jersey Ramapo Mountains in the northeast corner of Passaic County. Our Town covers an area of some 27 square miles, including a number of lakes, ponds, and reservoirs. In addition, the borough has a population of 12,850 along with over 250 businesses.
This Police Department has 21 sworn officers, 5 special officers, and 10 civilian personnel. The Ringwood Police Department prides itself on the level of service we provide to the Community.
