* May 12th Late night registration for Primary election - 4:30-9PM
* May 13th Last day to register to vote for Primary election
* May 27th Last day to apply by mail for an absentee ballot
* June 2nd Last day to apply for absentee ballot in person at the County Clerk's
Office in Paterson
* June 3rd Presidential Primary Election Day - Polls open 6am - 8pm.

If you have recently moved to Ringwood or moved to a different part of town; if you are newly married or if you are currently not registered to vote in Ringwood; please stop by the Borough Clerk's office during normal business hours to update your information or register to vote.
VOTER ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to vote, residents must be 18 years old by the date of the election, citizen of the United States, must have been living in Passaic County for 30 days and must have registered at least 30 days prior to the election.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS: Applications for absentee ballots are available at the Office of the Borough Clerk, 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, New Jersey, (973) 475-7102, or from the County Clerk, 401 Grand Street, Paterson, New Jersey. Applications must be received by the County Clerk in Paterson, New Jersey, no later than 7 days prior to the Election. After that date, applicants must apply in person to the County Clerk for absentee ballots up to 3:00 p.m. on the day prior to the Election.
